During summer 2012, the renowned bolognese entrepreneur, Gianluca Vitali, together with a passionate master gelato maker, Stefano Franceschi, discussed for the first time a new challenge for their life: exporting true authentic Italian gelato in America. A year later, on December 2013, Stefano and his beloved Marcella managed to successfully open the first Gelato & Co. shop, in Camana Bay (Gran Cayman).
Gelato&Co offers an outstanding quality Italian Gelato, ensured by the traditional homemade process: differently to industrial ice-cream which relies on automatized production, artisanal gelato is made fresh in-house daily, using only carefully selected ingredients. Fine pastry delights such as Panettone, Tiramisu, Cheesecakes and Macaroons. Extremely fragrant ice-cream waffle cones and homemade ice-cream bars enrich the product range. Gelato&Co also serves different types of coffee, each characterized by different fragrances and intensities to suit different tastes.
The driving value for our brand is QUALITY – It doesn’t simply translate into the outstanding flavor and texture of our gelato, but also into the structure of our supply chain. Each of our shops is equipped with internal laboratories that guarantee a FULL homemade production process, which takes place on a daily basis.
